Laptop Freezing fix suggestion by geeksquad

I upgraded to Windows 10 from 8.1 and for some strange reasons if I leave Windows idle for no more than 10 minutes it decides to freeze hang. Suggestions of fixes to computer freezes when idle Windows 10? I hope it’s not my CPU. Everything else I should be able to replace easily in time. I contacted geek squad they suggested me the following fix for my laptop freezing issue.

Change sleep mode setting.

1.Go to “Power Options” from the search icon on computer desktop taskbar. Then click “Edit Power Plan” to open “Edit Plan Settings” screen.

2.Now Click on “Change advanced power settings” and then you will see another interface.

3.Double click “Sleep” and then hit “Hibernate after” and then tap on the drop-down list. Then change it to “Never” and click OK button to save the settings.]

I followed these steps suggested by joseph from geek squad tech support and after implementing this fix my laptop is working smooth.

There was an another fix suggested by him was to reboot my windows 10. You can do this by pressing and holding the power button on your laptop for 10 second to reboot your laptop. This can also help in fixing the problem.
